June 24, 2012
In our 1st game at Bonnabel the Tigers defeated the Phillies 7 - 5. Leading hitters for the Tigers wre: Harold Buoch 3 for 3, and Angel Ramirez 2 for 3, 2RBI. Tim Flores picked up the win for the Tigers. Leading the Phillies with 2 of the 3 hits given up by the Tigers was Jimmy Doss 2 for 3, 1DBL.
Our 2nd game at Bonnabel saw the Yankees beating the Dodgers 13 - 7. Leading the attack for the Yankees were: Jimmy Buckel 3 for 4, 2RBI, Lowell Gaulf 3 for 4, 1DBL, 2RBI, and Mike Kennedy 3 for 4. Fred Alfred picked up the win for the Yankees. Joey Brockoff, Mickey Gallagher, and Rivette each had 2 hits apiece for the Dodgers.
Over in Laplace at St. Charles High the Cubs pounded out an 18 - 3 win over the Cardinals from Thibodaux. Leading hitters for the Cubs were: Steve Ceravolo 3 for 4, 1DBL, 1RBI, Bart Molay 3 for 4, 1DBL, 3RBI, Phil Leblanc 2 for 3, and Greg Cahill 2 for 4, 1RBI. Paul Mancuso picked up the win for the Cubs pitching a complete game while striking out 12 Cardinals. Leading the Cardinals was Craig Robicheaux going 2 for 3, 1DBL.
The Pirates were off this weekend.
Week 8

In the 1st game at Bonnabel, the Phillies beat the Cubs 6 - 3. Leading the Offense were; Ernest Neves 3 for 3, 1DBL, 1Tr, Mike Lebeau 2 for 3, and Spencer Ott 2 for 3. Spencer Ott also picked up the win for the Phillies. For the Cubs Greg Cahill was 2 for 4, 1HR. 2RBI, and Steve Schneck was 2 for 4, 1DBL.
The 2nd game had the Dodgers defeating the Tigers 11 - 0. Leading the Dodgers were; Rivette 2 for 2, 1RBI, and Jeff Perez 2 for 3, 1RBI. Joey Brockoff was 1 for 2, 3RBI. Derek Cusick picked up the win for the Dodgers. Byron Addison and Allen Rome each went 2 for 3. for the Tigers.
Our 3rd game at Bonnabel saw the Yankees come from behind in the last inning to beat the Pirates 14 - 13. The Yamkees offense was led by; Mike Guidry 3 for 3, 2RBI, Robin Troullier 3 for 4, 1RBI, Reggie Lane 2 for 3, 2RBI, and Albert Causey 2 for 3, 1RBI. For the Pirates Todd LeBourgeois was 1 for 2, 2RBI.
