WEEK 1 - OPENING DAY

March 10, 2013

In our 1st game of the 2013 season the Dodgers defeated the Pirates 8 - 2. Mickey Gallagher was 3 for 4, Joey Brockoff was 2 for 4. Derek Cusack threw a 1 hitter thru 6 innings to pick up the win for the Dodgers. Todd LeBourgeois got the only hit for the Pirates.

Our 2nd game at Bonnabel saw the Cubs beat the Yankees 7 - 3. Greg Sanders led the Cubs going 2 for 3, 1RBI. Chip Loftin pitched the entire games for the Cubs to pick up the win. Rick Philibert was 2 for 3, 1DBL, 1RBI. for the Yankees.

Over in St. Charles the Rangers blanked the Phillies 10 - 0. Spencer Ott gave up only 2 hits to pick up the win for the Rangers. Leading the Rangers offense were: Kevin Senior 3 for 3, 2RBI, Chris Ricks 2 for 2, 2RBI, Ernest Neves 2 for 4, 2RBI. Rudy St. Amant was 1 for 2, for the Phils.

The 2nd game in St. Charles saw the Cardinals beat the Tigers 8 - 7. Travis Gros pitched all nine innings for the Cardinals picking up the win. Leading the Cardinals was Doug Hodgson was 1 for 3, 1TR, 2RBI

 

WEEK 2 - 1ST WOOD BAT DAY

March 24, 2013

Our 1st game at Bonnabel saw the Cubs beat the Dodgers 15 - 7. Paul Mancuso got the win striking out 12 in 6 innings. Leading hitters for the Cubs wre: Allyn Hughes 3 for 4, 3RBI, Greg Saunders 3 for 4, 2RBI, Steve Schneck 3 for 4, 3RBI, Rick Hudson 3 for 5, 2RBI, and Kevin Martin 3 for 5, 1RBI. Virgil Ladner and Phillip Wangerin each had 2 hits for the Dodgers.

Our 2nd game at Bonnabel saw the Rangers defeat the Yankees 17 - 1. Spencer Ott picked up the win for the Rangers. Leading hitters were: Kevin Senior 3 for 3, 2HR, 1DBL, 3RBI, Damian Scioneaux 2 for 3, 1HR, 5RBI, Bob Oster 2 for 2, 1DBL, 3RBI. Ricky Plauche had 2 hits for the Yankees.

At St. Charles the Tigers beat the Phillies 15 - 4. Leading hitters for the Tigers were: Rob Voros 3 for 4, Jim Means 2 for 4, 1DBL, 3RBI, Mike Lee 2 for 3, 2RBI. Mike Lee also picked up the win for the Tigers.John Paciera was 2 for 3, 2RBI for the Phillies.

In the 2nd game at St. Charles the Pirates defeated the White Sox 8 - 6. Leading the Pirates were: Chris Schmaltz 3 for 4, 1TR, 2RBI, Lenny Miller 2 for 4. Gene Schmaltz threw 9 innings to pick up the win for the Pirates. The White Sox spread 6 hits thru their lineup.

 

WEEK 3

April 7, 2013

In our 1st game at Bonnabel, the Yankees beat the Dodgers 9 - 7. Leading the way for the Yankees were: Fred Durand 2 for 3, 2DBL, 2RBI, Lloyd Delahoussaye 2 for 3, 1HR, 1RBI, Albert Causey 2 for 3, Robin Troullier, 2 for 3, 2RBI, Brian Singleton 2 for 3, 2RBI. Fred Alfred got the win. Leading hitters for the Dodgers were: Ed Vollenweider 2 for 4, 1RBI, Joey Brockhoff 1 for 2, 2RBI, Virgil Ladner 1 for 4, 2RBI.

The 2nd game saw the Cubs spank the Phillies 24 - 0. Leading the Cubs 24 hit atack were: Rick Hudson 4 for 4, 1DBL, 2RBI, Phil Leblanc 4 for 4, 2RBI, Chip Loftin 3 for 4, 1DBL, 4RBI, Greg Cahill 3 for 5, 3RBI, Kevin Martin 3 for 5, 3RBI. Paul Mancuso picked up the win for the Cubs. Brandon St. Amand was 1 for 2, 1DBL. for the Phillies.

At St. Charles, the Rangers beat the White Sox 12 - 2. Hitters for the Rangers were: Brian Kennedy 3 for 4, 2RBI, Bob Oster 3 for 5, 1DBL, 1RBI, Craig Quintal 2 for 4, 2RBI, Spencer Ott 2 for 5, 2RBI. Spencer also picked up the win. For the White Sox Luke Suarez was 1 for 3, 1DBL, 1RBI, Eric Costa 1 for 2, 1RBI.

Down at Southland, in Houma the Cardinals defeated the Pirates 15 - 4. Travis Gros pitched 7 innings to pick up the win. Leading hitters were: Gwain Roundtree 3 for 3, 1RBI, Doug Hodgson 2 for 3, 1DBL, 4RBI, Rusty Tripp 2 for 2, Joe Tueton 1 for 2, 2RBI. The leading hitter for the Pirates was Todd LeBourgeois 2 for 3.

 

WEEK 4

April 21, 2013

Our 1st game at Bonnabel saw the Pirates beating the Phillies 15 - 8. Leading the Pirates were: Gene Schmaltz 4 for 4, 1DBL, 2RBI, Shelton Carr 2 for 3, 2RBI, Todd LeBourgeois 2 for 4, Ronnie Schowarth 2 for 4, 1RBI, Gary Duplessis 2 for 4. Lloyd Bagnell got the win. Leading the Phillies was Saul Jones 2 for 3.

In the 2nd game the Dodgers defeated the Tigers 11 - 1. Leading the Dodgers were: Chris Rivette 2 for 3, 2RBI, Phil Wangerin 2 for 3, 1RBI, Derick Cusick 1 for 2, 1DBL, 2RBI, Jimmy Barta 1 for 2, 1HR, 1RBI. Barta also picked up the win. Tim Moffett was 2 for 2, 1DBL, 1RBI. for the Tigers.

At St. Charles the Cubs beat the White Sox 6 - 5. For the Cubs Rick Hudson, Kevin Martin and "Boomer" Newman each had 2 hits each. Paul Mancuso picked up the win. The White Sox were led by: Lynn Brehm and Eric Costa with 2 hits apiece.

Finally at Southland Park, the Yankees defeated the Cardinals 11 - 3. Leading hitters for the Yankees were: Rick Philibert 3 for 5, Rob Troullier 3 for 5, 3RBI, Mike Guidry 2 for 4, Brian Singleton 2 for 4, 1RBI, Albert Causey and Wilson Winn each had 3RBI. Leading the Cardinals were; "Boot" Calderera 2 for 3, 1RBI, Craig Robicheaux 2 for 3.
