WEEK 13

July 7, 2013

The 1st game at Bonnabel saw the Yankees beat the Cardinals 8 - 2. For the Yankees: Albert Causey was 1 for 2, 1rbi, Lloyd Delahoussaye 1 for 2. Fred Alfred picked up the win. Steve manor and Corey Sullivan were each 1 for 2 for the Cardinals.

In our 2nd game the Phillies beat the Pirates  10 - 3. Leading the Phillies were: Cyril St. Cyr 3 for 3, 1DBL, 2RBI, Kevin Lebeau 2 for 3, 2RBI. Leading the Pirates was Mark Hollebone 2 for 3, 1DBL.

In our 1st game at St. Charles the Dodgers defeated the Tigers 9 - 0. Leading the Dodgers offense were: Jeff Perez 2 for 3, 1DBL, Mike Wellman 2 for 3, 2RBI, Marc Young 2 for 3, 1RBI, Ed Vollenweider 2 for 4, 1DBL, and James Brossette 2 for 4, 1DBL, 2RBI. Jimmy Barta pitched 9 innings, 6K, for the win. Byron Addison was 2 for 3 for the Tigers.

The 2nd game at St. Charles was rained out.

 

WEEK 12

June 30, 2013

 

Both our games at Bonnabel were rained out. 

At St. Charles our 1st game saw the Tigers defeat the Pirates 12 - 6. Leading the way for the Tigers were: Mike Lee 3 for 3, 1DBL, 2RBI, Byron Addison 2 for 3, 1DBL, 1RBI, Jerry Nelson 2 for 3, 1RBI, Rob Voros 2 for 3, 1DBL, 1RBI, and Tom Baer 1 for 1, 1HR, 2RBI. Leading the Pirates was Gary Duplessis 2 for 4.

The 2nd game was a make up game with the Tigers beating the Phillies 18 - 7. Leading the Tigers in this game were: Steve Kohn 1 for 2, 4RBI, Jim Meades 2 for 3, 3RBI, Angel Ramirez 2 for 2, 3RBI. Tom Baer picked up the win for the Tigers. Brandon St. Amand was 1 for 2, 1HR, 2RBI for the Phillies.

Down at Southland the Cubs defeated the Cardinals 10 -6. Leading the Cubs were: Greg Cahill 3 for 4, 3RBI, Greg Saunders 1 for 3, 4RBI, Dan Newman 2 for 3, 1DBL. Steve Ceravolo picked up the win for the Cubs. Leading the Cardinals were: Craig Robicheaux 2 for 3, 1DBL, 3RBI, and Risty Tripp 2 for 3, 1RBI. 

 

WEEK 11

June 23, 2013

 

Our 1st game at Bonnabel saw the Cubs defeat the Phillies by the score of 11 - 2. Leading hitters for the Cubs were: Greg Cahill 1 for 3, 3RBI, Kevin Martin 1 for 3, 3RBI, and Bart Molay 1 for 3, 1DBL, 1rbi. Paul Mancuso got the win with 4IP, 10K. Leading the Phillies were: Steve Ricks 1 for 1, and Mike Lebeau 1 for 1, 1DBL, 1RBI.

The 2nd game had the Dodgers beating the Yankees 7 - 6. Leading  the Dodgers were: Phil Wangerin 2 for4, 1DBL, Jimmy Barta 1 for 3, 1hr, 3rbi. Jimmy Barta picked up the win with 4IP, 12K. Leading hitters for the Yankees were: Lowell Gaulf 1 for 2, 2RBI, and Brian Singleton 2 for 3,1RBI.

At St. Charles the Cardinals defeated the Pirates 8 - 4. Leading the Cardinals offense were: Craig Robicheaux 3 for4, 1DBL, 3RBI, Gwain Roundtree 2 for3, 2RBI, Chuck Battaglia and Corey Sullivan each had 2 hits. Glen Tatum was 1 for 2, 1RBI, and Ronnie Schwarth was 1 for 3, 1DBL, 1RBI.

Our 2nd game at St. Charles saw the White Sox beat the Rangers 9 - 6. Leading the white sox were: Eric Costa 2 for 2, 1RBI, Richard Shannon was 1 for 2, 1RBI. Eric Costa picked up the win with 8IP, 5k. Leading the Rangers were: Bbrian Kennedy 3 for 4, Jason Hendrik 2 for 3, 2RBI, and Brad Washington 2 for 3, 1RBI.

 

WEEK 10

June 9, 2013

In our 1st game at Bonnabel, the Yankees defeated the rangers by the score of 9 - 7. Leading the Yankees hitting were: Ricky Plauche 2 for 3, 1rbi, Claude Troullier 1 for 1, 2w, Fred Jackson pitched the entire game for the Yankees to pick up the win. Leading hitter for the Rangers was Ernie Neves 3 for 4.

Our 2nd game saw the Cubs beat the Dodgers 7 - 0. Steve Schneck and Steve Stropolo each had 3 hits for the Cubs and 1rbi each. Paul Mancuso got the win for the cubs. Leading the offense for the Dodgers was Marc Young, 2 for 3.

MVP for the week: Fred Jackson for his pitching performance against the Rangers. Complete game, gave up 10 hits, 6 earned runs, 5k's 1 walk.

 

WEEK 9

CAN'T BEAT MOTHER NATURE. All of our games were washed out this weekend. We came close at Bonnabel but got too much in too short of time to make it worth waiting around to play. Will pick up schedule as posted for Sunday June 9, 2013.

WEEK 8

May 26, 2013

Our 1st game at Bonnabel saw the Rangers outscore the Cubs 5 - 1. Pitching dominated the game with Spencer Ott giving up only 7 hits in picking up the win and Paul Mancuso giving up 8 hits while getting the loss. Leading the Rangers were: Chris Ricks 2 for 2, Earnest Neves 2 for 4. Paul Mancuso led he Cubs going 1 for 3, 1DBL, .

The 2nd game had the Yankees beating the Tigers 13 - 9. Leading hitters for the Yankees were: Ricky Plauche 2 for 2, 2RBI, Lowell Gaulf 2 for 3, 3RBI, Brian Triche 1 for 1, 2RBI. Fred Durand picked up the win for the Yankees. Byron Addison was 2 for 4, 2RBI for the Yanks.

Down at Southland the Cardinals defeated the Phillies 10 - 4. Leading hitters for the Cardinals were: Melvin Howard 3 for 3, Bo Levett 2 for 3, 1RBI, Ben Hebert 2 for 3, 2RBI. Bo Levett picked up the win for the Cardinals. Jay Ledet was 2 for 4, 1RBI and Zo Lassigree was 2 for 4, 1RBI for he Phillies.

At St. Charles the Dodgers beat the White Soz 5 - 1. Leading the offense for the Dodgers was Mike Wellman goingh 2 for 3, 1DBL. Jimmy Barta got the win with 17 k's. Luke Suarez was 1 for 3, 1DBL. for the White Sox.
